Ultrachron 1.7.2 Released

April 13, 2010 Updates

This release adds several great features:

1) VoiceSet – This allows you to set the timer by speaking. Just press the microphone button and say the amount of time you would like the timer to run. Example: “5 minutes”, “2 hours 30 minutes”, “30 seconds”, etc…

2) Auto Start with Voice Set – This feature (disabled by default) must be enabled in the ‘More’ options menu. After that the timer will automatically start after you use VoiceSet. This is the easiest way to set a timer that I have ever seen and I use it all of the time!

3) Dismiss Alarm Button – A new button will appear when the alarm is ringing. It allows you to silence the alarm without stopping the timer.

4) Set Alarm Length – This new menu option allows you to set the length that an alarm will sound. It will even restart short ringtones to play for the amount of time selected.

I hope you like the new features!

Nice additions. Can we get hundredths of seconds to display in the next release?

How about a “snap back” feature for lap timing

is there anyway that i can set the “warning” intervals. like when i set the timer for 30 minutes, I would like to set the warning for 15 minutes, then 5 minutes and then 1 minute. Also can eliminate the “over” warning so that once the timer hits its “0” mark then all announcements quit.

    Thanks

    Hello MyChron team,

I have not yet bought this App, but I will if you can add one feature: show running lap (instead of total time). Personally I can’t even understand why peoply would like it the way it is, but probably making it an option (as opposed to just change it) is the best solution.

I use the stopwatch for motorcycle racing and it would be very convenient to know when you can expect your rider. Furthermore, if the running laptime is show, it is easier te check approximate gaps between your rider and pursuers.

Do this, and you have another customer.

    Bye, Jan

Sorry to ask what is probably a dumb question, but I couldn’t find any help on this so …

Is there anyway to turn off and back on the voice countdown? Or to specify how/when it speaks.

Most of the time, I prefer the default behavior. Sometime, it would be great to only have it speak when it countdowns to zero and other times to turn off all speaking.

    Thanks for a great app,
    Michael

Hi! Great app! I can not use “voice set” on my milestone 2.1 update 1. I push and hold “voice set”, then I talk (tried german and english) and nothing happens … any idea?

This is by far the best android stop watch out there except for one thing… Needs Hundredths of a Sec capability for using during sporting events. I use mine to time my daughters competitive swimming, but swimmers clock to the Hundredth of a Sec. Is it possible to make this happen? Thanks so much!

Would be nice when you use the Voice Timing Set/Start if you could also use Stop/Pause/Reset commands during the timing.

    Thanks

Hi, I am new to the android-stuf, market things. I got here through the Android-market. I expected to find a link here somewhere to enable me to download the app you made. I only find links to the same page, or comments… but no links to any app… Is this me or is this an Android-something for confusing new users?
